did they forget to release some chapters?
why save tess? isnt she just a loli?
demon lord? thought we were done with that already or is this his dream? the corpse only had tess’ blood and not molan or did his blood fall on the corpse during the fight? but why did it take at least 2 days to get there but somehow it only happens now after he returns which should have taken longer with more ppl.
does that mean he never slept during the travel? does it require sleep for the contract to appear or was it supposed to be a delay?
did chapter 17 skip story and this is showing what happened in between? or was author just plain drunk when he released the chapters?

I think you are skipping chapters… The demon lord’s soul has long since escaped the blood because it has found a suitable host which is Molan, at the Oracle. And it was waiting for a suitable time to appear before him, when Molan desired power. For some reason which is not explained yet, the demon lord is not interested in taking control over Molan forcefully.
